COVID 19 Statement

Corona virus updates

Effective 17 March 2020, in line with Government guidance, our care and support services across the country will be closed to all non-essential visitors.

This may include family members, supporters and any external party.  We will only look to permit access to staff, health professionals, and essential maintenance contractors.

We understand how distressing this news will be too everyone, however, the safety and wellbeing of our staff and the people that we support are our top priority. (If you have a family member receiving End of Life support from us, then please contact the Home Manger of the service your loved one is in to discuss matters. They will have a discretionary waiver to these restrictions in these types of circumstances, if visitors are symptom free, so they may spend time with their loved one).

We will continue to monitor and review the situation in line with current Government guidance and will keep you updated as and when things change. Our Group Executive Management Team continue to stay abreast of Government and Public Health England guidance which is changing dramatically as events around this pandemic unfold.

You are reminded that should any of our services experience an outbreak of the virus, our response to this will be guided and driven by advice from Public Health England, the local Health Protection Team, local authority and other parties, to manage risk and ensure both staff and service users are fully supported.

If you have any questions, please contact the manager of the service in which you or your relative are supported. Alternatively, you may email hello@ambient.org.uk

To talk to us about what you need and how we can help, please get in touch.
